I spent the better portion of my adult life serving in the United States military. I began my career in the Army, and later moved over to the Air Force.

After a training mishap rendered me unfit for duty, I returned to the civilian world and began devoting my efforts to writing full-time.

I spend most of my time writing opinion articles on my website (http://richardmccord.com). However, HubPages is a great place to share my more family-friendly articles with the community.

It should be noted that the two are mutually exclusive: opinions which I write for my website do not represent the views of HubPages, nor does HubPages ever commission (pay) me to express any view other than my own. If I write it, I believe it.

I possess a firm grasp of computer technology- from security, to hardware, to gaming. I also tend to have an opinion on just about everything, with a willingness to share it.
